Newcastle United interest in Allan Elias arrives at a time when Palmeiras expect significant transfer income in 2026 – and the midfielder sits at the centre of that projection.
According to ESPN Brazil, Palmeiras plan to raise €70m from new player sales next year. The club exclude instalments from past transfers and count only fresh deals for 2026. Allan appears as one of the main assets capable of reaching a high fee, especially after becoming Abel Ferreira’s “utility player” this season, playing in several roles and deciding big matches.
Newcastle United recently signalled they want an “immediate” agreement and are “willing to make an investment” for the 21-year-old. That stance fits Palmeiras’ financial outlook. The club do not consider any player “untouchable” for 2026, which leaves room for a major Premier League move if a concrete bid arrives.
Palmeiras already rejected a €20m offer from Zenit and expect future proposals close to €32m. Allan’s release clause sits close to €100m, which keeps Palmeiras in full control of the negotiation, but their plan to generate substantial income next year increases the likelihood of a high-profile sale.
Newcastle remain attentive. If Allan leaves in 2026, Palmeiras seem ready to count that transfer inside their financial strategy for the season.
