Manchester United player ‘would have liked’ January move – Ten Hag blocked transfer

It’s said the Bundesliga side’s sporting director, Markus Krösche, was working on Monday and Tuesday in trying to bring the defender on a loan deal until the end of this season.

The 28-year-old ‘would have liked’ to join the German club in January, but the deal didn’t take shape because the Red Devils coach did not let him go out in the recently concluded window.
