Liverpool are closing in on signing Bradley Barcola, after reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.
Earlier this week, the two clubs reached a full verbal agreement for the forward to join the Reds.
On Friday, Sport Witness covered a report from France explaining that Barcola is flying to England on Saturday for final talks with Liverpool.
Liverpool medical to follow
Le Parisien on Saturday state the Ligue 1 winners and the Merseyside club have reached the final agreement. This operation will see Luis Enrique’s side collect €125m in fixed fee plus €20m as bonuses.
The two clubs will exchange documents today, so that the 23-year-old can travel to the UK to carry out medical tests and other formalities with Liverpool.
PSG signed the France international from Lyon for around €45m in 2023. The winger has managed 39 goals and 37 assists from 159 matches for the Paris club. They are making a huge profit from his impending sale to the Premier League side.
Signing more expensive for Liverpool
Le Parisien journalist Benjamin Quarez took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report an additional detail of the agreement.
Lyon will financially benefit from the France international’s big money move to Anfield.

Lyon will receive €5m as part of the sell-on clause and FIFA’s Solidarity Mechanism from the Bradley Barcola operation.
Quarez says PSG, led by their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, have negotiated for Andoni Iraola’s side to cover this payment. In short, the English club are paying an additional €5m as part of the agreement to sign the Frenchman.
The Reds pursued the attacker throughout the window and can complete his signing days before Tuesday’s deadline.
Barcola, who hasn’t made an appearance for PSG this season, will be in contention to make his Liverpool debut against Ipswich Town on September 4th.
