After a five-year spell at Liverpool, Kostas Tsimikas joined AS Roma on loan in the summer.
He was seen as a signing who could help the Italian club strengthen the left wing-back position. So far though, things have barely got going for the Greek under Gian Piero Gasperini.
Tsimikas has made only five Serie A appearances. In the Europa League, he’s played three games. Even in the absence of Angelino, the Liverpool loanee has failed to become first-choice.
Liverpool player making up the numbers

Tuttomercatoweb report Roma are already losing patience with the 29-year-old.
Gasperini hasn’t been convinced by the Greece international at all. That is why Wesley, who is originally a right wing-back, has also been used at left wing-back. The Reds loanee has played only six minutes in the last three Serie A games.
The outlet believe unless Tsimikas makes a major impact in the next few weeks, he will return to Liverpool next summer.
The Giallorossi are not looking to send the player back to Anfield early. They still want depth in the squad in Angelino’s absence and Tsimikas makes up the numbers. That doesn’t change that Roma are very likely to send him back at the end of the season.
Tsimikas being a flop was also covered in October, and unfortunately it’s not got any better.
