Leeds United, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Brentford are all keen on Wolves’ Santiago Bueno, a source has informed Sport Witness.

The Premier League quartet including West Ham and Brentford have the defender on their agenda for the summer.

Bueno is planning to change clubs given Wolves’ relegation to the Championship.

Leeds United, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Brentford are also in the mix to give him that opportunity.

The Uruguay international arrived at Molineux from Girona in August 2023 and has played 81 matches so far. This includes 30 matches from this season, with three goals and two assists.

His Premier League stats this season are as follows:

  • Appearances: 25
  • Starts: 24
  • Total minutes: 2,193
  • Interceptions per game: 0.9
  • Tackles per game: 2.0
  • Ball recovered per game: 2.4
  • Clearances per game: 3.9
  • Blocked shots per game: 0.6
  • Duels won per game: 4.2

Last week, Sport Witness covered claims from Brazil that Wolves will make four players available in the market, including the 27-year-old.

Wolves player wants PL stay

With Wolves’ relegation, the Uruguayan has no plans on playing in the Championship. A source told Sport Witness he wants to continue in the Premier League next season.

Santiago Bueno has options to join Leeds United, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Brentford in the next window.

The same source informed us the Whites, Oliver Glasner’s side, West Ham and Brentford have all made contact over a move for centre-back.

Sport Witness are not aware of the fee needed to convince Wolves. For now, it’s also unclear which of these four clubs are leading the transfer chase or the player’s preference among them.

His focus is to finish this season at Wolves and then represent his country at the World Cup.

The possibility of other Premier League sides considering the South American can’t be ruled out. What’s certain for now is that the player will leave Wolves in the summer.
