New information from Brazil says Wolves are keeping an eye on São Paulo youngster Pedro Bezerra.
Wolves have monitored the midfielder’s development in Brazil. They have already asked for information about him, as learned by Sport Witness.
The 18-year-old is still some way from establishing himself at senior level. Things are starting to move in that direction, though.
Bezerra has been training with São Paulo’s first team during the international break. This is giving him another chance to work closely with the senior coaching staff.

Sport Witness understand Wolves are keeping tabs on the young midfielder. They have followed his progress at São Paulo. There he’s regarded as one of the interesting names coming through the academy.
There’s no suggestion at this stage that Wolves have made an offer or started talks over a transfer. For now, this is one to keep an eye on.
Pedro Bezerra has been highly rated at São Paulo for some time. His path towards senior football hasn’t been completely straightforward, with physical problems disrupting his transition from U17 to U20 level.
He’s now getting a better run of games with the U20s, and that’s helped put him back closer to the senior side.
The midfielder was already on the fringes of the first team last year, when he made the bench on a few occasions. Manager Dorival Júnior is now getting a closer look at him.

What Wolves are watching
Bezerra mainly plays as a number eight and is comfortable getting involved in the build-up from deeper areas.
He’s technically strong and likes to offer himself as a passing option. São Paulo have also used him further forward during his development, including as a number ten.
São Paulo aren’t planning to rush him into their senior team. The idea is for Bezerra to continue collecting minutes at U20 level. He can then make up for some of the time he lost through physical issues.
His current spell with the professionals is still significant in that process. The Brazilian club expect 2027 to be an important year for him. In addition, the Brazilian Youth Cup in January will be another big opportunity to show where he is in his development.
Wolves have already done some homework on Bezerra. His next steps at São Paulo should now give them plenty more to watch.
