History

Founded in 1889, Brentford FC (“The Bees”) is a West London club that spent most of its history in the lower tiers, famously enjoying a 1930s “golden era” before returning to top-flight football in 2021. Known for a data-driven recruitment strategy under owner Matthew Benham, the club moved to the new Brentford Community Stadium in 2020 after 116 years at Griffin Park.
