Earlier in January, Gianluca Di Marzio reported Everton’s interest in Genoa’s Brooke Norton-Cuffy. With less than a week to go before the winter transfer window closes, the Toffees are competing with West Ham for the right-back.
The Englishman has impressed for the Italian side this season. He’s played 22 times in all competitions, emerging as a consistent performer under Daniele De Rossi.
Norton-Cuffy joined Genoa from Arsenal in 2024 for only €4m and his valuation has now grown considerably.
Calciomercato IT believe that Norton-Cuffy can leave the Rossoblu in the last few days of the January transfer window. Juventus have been attempting to sign a right-back and have met failures so far. This can lead to them pursuing a move for the Genoa star.
Everton best placed to sign fullback

The Bianconeri are now likely to face competition from Everton and West Ham.
The report makes it clear that Genoa want around €25m to let Norton-Cuffy depart. This asking price is likely to play into the hands of the English club, as Juve are unable to pay that amount right now.
Everton are ‘poised to attack’ for the Arsenal academy graduate and are ahead of West Ham in the race. The Premier League is emerging as a likely destination for the right-back, who has previously had loan spells at Millwall and Coventry City.
This comes right after Gianluca Di Marzio has spoke of Juventus’ offer for the defender.
The Old Lady have put forward an initial loan with a conditional obligation to buy, but Genoa are in no mood to accept this.
Genoa can make a big capital gain on the player, given the low price they paid. It appears likely they’d grasp the opportunity to do so. Everton are ahead right now, and there’s a fullback deal there to be done for the Toffees.
