Valencia are confident that Leeds United will lower their demands for Largie Ramazani this summer, with the forward determined to return to the Mestalla.
Super Deporte report on the 25-year-old today. He is reportedly ‘desperate’ to return to the Mestalla following a loan spell last season. And he’s making no secret of that fact.
Valencia want him back
The newspaper reports that Valencia still consider Largie Ramazani are one of their top targets to bolster their attack this summer. However, unless there are any unexpected developments, the deal will not be done until well into the transfer window.
The Spanish side are currently focused on signing a right-back. Meanwhile, Ramazani ‘continues to send signals’ that he is keen to return to the Mestalla from Leeds.
The latest has come from social media. He was spotted replying to a picture of Valencia players with the caption “one’s missing”. That’s seen as a reference to himself and his eagerness to be reunited with teammates from last season.
Inside the club and among those close to the player, the feeling is that it is ‘evident’ he wants to return to Valencia this summer. He is even willing to do his bit to ‘facilitate the move’.
Leeds waiting
Leeds are waiting for offers at this moment in time. At the Mestalla, they are convinced that the Belgian international fits the profile they are looking for to strengthen the right-wing. But they know their chance of another deal is dependent on how negotiations unfold in the coming weeks.
Leeds are open to a sale, but they have no plans to facilitate his departure at this stage of the summer. They are hoping to receive offers from clubs with greater financial resources from Valencia.
Time is on the Spanish club’s side, though. If no offers come in for Ramazani in the coming weeks, Leeds will be forced to sell once August begins.
That could see them lower their asking price to find a way to offload the winger. He is not a part of Daniel Farke’s plans. He is also in the final two years of his deal, so it makes sense for Leeds to sell this summer.
This is all, seemingly, part of Valencia’s planning. They’re willing to play the long game to get the deal that they want.
