Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid may lead to one or two exits from the club this summer, and that will encourage some in the wilder sections of the Spanish sports media into big transfer claims in the hope something will stick.

That very much appears to be the case with Eduardo Inda, who shall we say, has something of a reputation, and an appearance on El Chiringuito.

There can be some good transfer information shared by El Chiringutio, especially when related to big Real Madrid moves. As it stands, this doesn’t feel like one of those times.

Inda has claimed there’s been an offer worth €120m from Liverpool to buy Rodrygo. Real Madrid are said to have rejected that bid because those in charge at the La Liga champions highly rate the Brazilian attacker.

Fichajes quote Inda as saying: “The bidding club is Liverpool and the player is a player very similar to their style. We are talking about a Real Madrid winger and it is Rodrygo. Real Madrid’s refusal is emphatic because the board likes him a lot.”

The likelihood of Liverpool paying €120m for anyone this summer seems quite low, with Michael Edwards probably wanting to stamp his authority with heavily scouted buys at lower prices rather than established stars.
