Jorginho’s contract at Chelsea will run down in 2023 and has been linked with a return to the Serie A side in recent weeks.

These reports are further fueled by the midfielder’s agent, Joao Santos, opening the door for his client to return to Italy.

Last week, the former Napoli star’s representative admitted the player’s ‘heart is there’ in Serie A, where he can play for Juve, Inter Milan, Napoli, AS Roma or AC Milan.

Calciomercato now have a report on Brazil-born Italy international and question whether the Old Lady are ‘thinking’ about the player.

Answering their own question, they state: ‘yes, it’s true’, but only on certain conditions.

It’s claimed the Turin club’s CEO, Maurizio Arrivabene, ‘does not allow for deviations from the rule’ and that rule is not to buy players who are in their 30s, who will be ‘unsellable’ for them.

However, Thomas Tuchel’s man is ‘healthy and at peak career performance’.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side would carry out a deal for Jorginho if he is made available on a free transfer or ‘almost zero’ from Chelsea.

Therefore, if the player were to arrive at Juve, ‘history would change’.

That maybe a stretch from Juventus, because it’s seems highly unlikely that Chelsea would allow a star player to leave under these conditions, meaning it may be a difficult task for them to take Jorginho away from Stamford Bridge.
