A rumour in the French media today links Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matheus Nunes to a few European sides.

That story was first published by Sports Zone, who, on Twitter, claimed the 24-year-old ‘wants to leave’ Wolves this summer.

Since it wasn’t clear whether their information was exclusive, it didn’t get covered at the time. But now it’s gaining attention in the local media, where Le10Sport also report it.

According to the piece, the Wolves player was offered by agent Jorge Mendes to several clubs. That includes Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain.

The Reds and PSG reportedly don’t have Nunes as a ‘priority’, but do consider his arrival. The Red Devils, meanwhile, aren’t thought to be interested.

When covering the claims, Le10Sport recalls that recent stories said the Parisian side are looking for a midfielder, since Marco Verratti could leave in the summer.

Nunes was signed by Wolves in a €45m deal from Sporting last summer, and is tied to the club with a contract until 2027, with an option for an extra year.
