West Ham United, like a bunch of clubs around England right now, are scrambling around to get a few more players through the door.

Among those they have tattered is Ola Aina, as Gianluca Di Marzio took to Twitter to reveal that the Hammers ‘have sent a bid to Torino’ of €4m up front and €4m in add-ons for the wing-back.

However, that wasn’t enough to satisfy the Serie A club, who have returned to West Ham with demands of €6m + €4m in bonuses.

Born in London, the Nigeria international knows England and the Premier League well, making 34 appearances in the competition, most of which came for Fulham during the 2020-21 season, with the last being a 3-1 loss to Southampton.

He then returned to Torino, where he was quite an important player under Ivan Juric last season, which continued into this campaign, as he has played in all three games to date.

Still, that hasn’t stopped West Ham from giving it a go, who will have to up their offer by €2m at the very least if they want to convince the Serie A side to part ways with Aina.
