West Ham United and Lyon now have an agreement for the transfer of Saïd Benrahma, according to claims from France.

L’Equipe writes that the 28-year-old is now set to join the Ligue 1 side in the ‘coming hours’.

It’s claimed that West Ham and Lyon have just settled the ‘final details’ of the move. The French club are set to pay the Hammers around €5m to have the player on loan until the end of the season, and will then have the option to buy him in the summer for another €10m.

Benrahma is said to be one of the main targets the Ligue 1 side had for the January transfer window, as he fits the profile the club had been looking for to reinforce their wings.

The player had 22 appearances for West Ham this season, but had been in and out of David Moyes’ starting side, and only had one assist for the team so far.

It’s now up to Benrahma to do better at Lyon and make that transfer become permanent by the end of the season.
