Amid the Stefano Sensi saga, the Italian media today reported that Leicester City and Inter Milan are still to find a ‘green light’ for the transfer.

It’s been said that the clubs are still negotiating the transfer formula, as that could be a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy.

It’s now time for Calcio Mercato to bring an update on the situation, also claiming there’s absolutely no agreement between Leicester City and Inter Milan yet.

The outlet claims that the deal seemed done, based on a €500k move with a €2m bonus if the Foxes are promoted to the Premier League. And it’s the English club who are trying to change the conditions, turning it into a loan with purchase obligation, just to postpone the payment.

Inter Milan want the deal done now, though, especially because a loan would require them to extend Sensi’s contract, which expires in the summer.

Calcio Mercato make it clear the deal ‘does not seem to be in danger’, and Leicester City continue trying to unblock it.
