West Ham United are reportedly one of the English clubs interested in Lens centre-back Kevin Danso.

The pursuit is revealed by French journalist Ignazio Genuardi, who writes the 25-year-old has been drawing big attention from European clubs.

His story starts by claiming Danso is ‘closely followed’ by English clubs, and that’s where West Ham get a mention.

The Hammers reportedly watched the defender featuring against Marseille at the weekend, and that’s not the first time they scouted him.

Besides West Ham and the other Premier League clubs, it’s said the likes of Roma and Napoli are also interested in the Austrian player.

Danso arrived at Lens in a €5.5m transfer from Augsburg in 2021, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €16m.

In the past few months, we’ve been seeing the likes of Fulham and Newcastle United both linked to the defender, but this is the first time West Ham’s interest is actually mentioned.

It’s recently been claimed that Lens will demand at least €20m for the sale, and with that competition, it would be no surprise to see those numbers going up.
