About a week ago, we covered an article from Spain regarding the future of Okay Yokuşlu, currently contracted to Celta Vigo.
Of interest to West Bromwich Albion, the Turkish midfielder might not be the most key player for the La Liga side, but Faro de Vigo made it clear the club weren’t interested in letting him go this January and ‘will not go on loan’.
‘Only willing to study a purchase offer’, Celta thought they might have heard the last of it, since that wasn’t something the Baggies seemed interested in, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
According to RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi, West Brom have returned with an offer, one they ‘consider to be their last’ for Yokuşlu.

Taking to social media, he revealed it was a ‘paid loan with a compulsory purchase clause of around €5m if West Brom remain in the Premier League’.
Celta Vigo’s answer is ‘expected today’, so we’ll have to see what they think of this ultimatum from Sam Allardyce’s side, but if the previous report from Faro de Vigo is anything to go by, it won’t be the answer the Baggies are looking for.
