Kwadwo Asamoah will leave Inter Milan in the summer even though he has a contract at the San Siro until 2021, according to FcInterNews.

It’s claimed two foreign clubs are ‘interested’ in the 31-year-old and Watford are one of them.

The Hornets ‘think about’ the Ghana international, who can operate in midfield and defence.

Watford are owned by the Pozzo family, who also own Udinese. The Italian business-owning family ‘knows him well’ because Asamoah spent four years at the Serie A side between 2008 and 2012.

A move to Vicarage Road can ‘intrigue’ the versatile player, but he’s ‘persistently sought also by’ Fenerbahçe.

The website states Fenerbahçe have tabled a two-year contract for Asamoah. He is currently earning €3m per season with the Nerazzurri and the Turkish club are ready to offer him the same wages.

With Watford and Fenerbahçe keen on Asamoah, more developments are expected in in the coming weeks. Asamoah will soon have to take a decision now that he is made aware he has no place at Inter next season.
