Watford youngster Yaser Asprilla has changed agents ahead of the summer window, according to reports from Colombia.

Journalist Pipe Sierra claims the player is now represented by Jonathan Herrera.

The agent has reportedly been involved in the €17m transfer that took Colombian striker Jhon Jader Duran from Chicago Fire to Aston Villa earlier this year.

Sierra doesn’t explain why Asprilla has changed agents at this time. Even though that could represent a the desire for a move away from Watford, that’s not the only thing representatives work for.

It’s only claimed that the youngster draws interest from ‘several’ interested clubs. And there’s some information about one of the sides who’ve been linked.

It’s recently been said that Brighton & Hove Albion would be keen on signing Asprilla from Watford this summer. This report, however, makes it clear that the Seagulls have not made an approach for the signing yet.

The midfielder was bought by the Hornets in January 2022, and following a loan at Envigado, he completed the move last summer. In his first season at Vicarage Road, he had one goal and two assists in 39 appearances.
