Leicester City and Nottingham Forest are have joined Leeds United and Everton in the chase for Salernitana’s Boulaye Dia.

On Monday, La Città di Salerno stated Javi Gracia’s side and the Toffees are in the mix to sign the striker in the summer.

Salernitana News now claim the Serie A side must ‘watch out’ for the growing interest in the 26-year-old from the Premier League as Leicester and Nottingham Forest have been added to the list of suitors, which already has Leeds, Everton and AC Milan.

The Italian club signed the Senegal international on loan from Villarreal last summer and have an option to make his stay permanent for €12m. He has starred this season, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists from 28 matches.

Dia has become a ‘real idol’ for Salernitana fans this season, and they will be hoping their side could hold on to him beyond the current season.

This has also convinced Milan to make an approach for him, but the report says they will face fierce competition from the Foxes, Steve Cooper’s side, the Whites and the Merseyside club for his signature.

The four clubs are fighting to avoid getting relegated from the top flight, as Leeds, Leicester, Everton and Nottingham Forest are 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th respectively in the table.

A failure to continue in the Premier League may have an impact on their chances to sign Dia in the summer.
