El Confidencial today again insist that Manchester United are keen on Gareth Bale.

Now, of course, there’s a lot of reasons to argue against that, but it’s explained Jose Mourinho has always been a fan and still remains so despite other incomings at Old Trafford and what the manager has said about not needing attackers.

Florentino Perez is ready to listen to offers, and whilst it’s thought the inflation in the market means €100m could be achieved, the reality is Real Madrid would be lucky to get such a fee unless Bale impresses between now and the end of the season.

An intermediary is already at work in England and has informed Real Madrid that Manchester United remain keen, along with Tottenham Hotspur.

So that’s one €100m signing being edged towards Old Trafford.

The other is Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

On Sunday we covered claims from Gazzetta dello Sport that Manchester United remain keen, after it was earlier reported Mourinho is ‘enchanted’ by the central midfielder.

Lazio want at least €100m, which they may well get, and Monday’s edition of Gazzetta also linked Manchester United, along with neighbours City.

Bale looks like he’ll again be one of the Premier league clubs rumours ahead of the summer, and this time joined by SMS.
