Torino are one of two clubs to have made initial overtures towards Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini about a move this summer.
That’s according to Torino Granata, who provide an exclusive on the goalkeeper’s potential move in the summer transfer window.
Gollini has spent this season on loan at Tottenham but has only featured in the cup competitions and is expected to return to Atalanta at the end of the season.
TG say as much, saying the Italian is ‘on the verge of returning to Italy’, but there is ‘little chance’ he will stay with his parent club.
He is, in fact, ‘on the market’, and there is no shortage of admirers. In fact, the website has learned that two ‘mid-to-high ranking’ Serie A clubs are interested in him and have already ‘initiated’ talks.
They don’t go as far as to say there have been negotiations that will lead to an agreement, just that the interest is there.
Torino are not one of those who have done so, but they are looking for someone to replace Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Etrit Berisha, both of whom haven’t been able to convince this season.
They are, however, an interested party and ‘could become the third wheel’ and move quickly to ‘burn the competition’ for the Tottenham loanee once he returns to Italy.
