Tanguy Ndombele will be leaving Galatasaray ‘for good’ in the summer, with his loan move from Tottenham simply not working out.

That’s according to Sporx, who say the Turkish side have no intention of trying to sign the Frenchman on a permanent basis.

They explain that while Galatasaray continue to compete for the title on the pitch, transfer preparations are already being made off it ahead of the summer.

There is a plan in place to completely renovate the midfield options in the squad, with several players set to depart and signings already targeted to replace them.

Ndombele is one of those who will be going, having arrived on loan from Tottenham in the summer but failed to make a positive impression.

He’s instead had a season filled with various controversies and been unable to dispel them via his performances on the pitch.

Thus, Galatasaray appear to have decided definitively that they won’t be signing him on a permanent basis, and he will return to Tottenham in the summer.

What happens from that point onwards remains to be seen, with his current deal at Spurs set to expire in June 2025.

The likelihood is that they will try to find a suitor for him, but Galatasaray won’t be one of them.
