Bayern Munich have been offered Tottenham’s Eric Dier ‘again and again’ in the last few days as his agents try to find him a move.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who says that the player is being ‘discussed internally’ by those in charge at the Allianz Arena.

Dier appears to be out of favour at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou, who is yet to use him at the beginning of this season.

Indeed, his focus appears to be on other players in the squad and that has led to suggestions that Dier could be on the move to seek out regular playing time elsewhere.

It appears that is something his agents are working on, with Plettenberg reporting that he was ‘offered’ to Bayern ‘again and again’ in the last few days.

There is very much a ‘possibility’ that the 29-year-old could end up at the Allianz Arena too, with the journalist reporting that he was ‘discussed internally’ as he can play as a centre back and a defensive midfielder.

That makes Dier an attractive prospect as Bayern could do with reinforcements in both areas and thus the topic is under discussion with Bayern’s new transfer committee.

Of course, they have an open relationship with Tottenham following the talks for Harry Kane this summer, although this time those in charge at Spurs will be far happier to deal with them than they were on that matter.
