Italian outlet FC Inter News today brings an update on the possibilities of a swap between Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan for Tanguy Ndombelé and Milan Skriniar.

The report says that all of the Nerazurri’s plans for the summer depend on a meeting between the club’s board and Antonio Conte. In case the manager continues with the project, then they’ll have the green light for these transfers.

Ndombelé is seen by Inter Milan as an ‘ideal profile’ for the Italian manager, and they consider his disappointing first season at Tottenham as an opportunity to land him.

Meanwhile, Skriniar is the one who could replace Jan Vertonghen at the London side. Since Antonio Conte doesn’t rate him highly, the manager could be convinced of letting the player go in case it results in Ndombelé’s arrival.

The swap is said to be in still in the very initial stages. The report claims that Tottenham should make ‘make an offer’ next week to try to convince him of the move. They must give him a salary a much bigger than the €4m per season (likely to be after tax) he makes at Inter Milan.

In case the defender accepts it, then the clubs would start evaluating the prices of each player. FC Inter News expects that both Tottenham and Milan will demand at least €50m for their assets.
