Tottenham Hotspur could allow Alejo Véliz to leave on winter deadline day, according to a report from Italy.

The north London club took the striker from Rosario Central last summer and he’s been limited to 45 minutes of action in the Premier League from eight games.

TuttoMercatoWeb state Fiorentina are considering opening their door for the Tottenham player.

The Serie A side are working to complete a deal for AS Roma’s Andrea Belotti, and the 20-year-old Spurs man would be in addition to him.

The report says La Viola have ‘tested the waters’, likely with Tottenham, to find out if they can sign the Argentina U21 international late in this window.

Ange Postecoglou’s side ‘would like to find’ a new club for the frontman, where he can go out on loan to enjoy more game time and continue his development.

TMW add that the possibility of the South American joining another, as yet unnamed, Italian club can’t be ruled out.

To sum it up, Tottenham would be willing to send Véliz out on loan on deadline day, and it remains to seen where he could end up.
