Fotospor report Trabzonspor are close to reaching an agreement with Reading to sign Tyler Blackett.

It’s reported Trabzonspor’s new manager Huseyin Cimsir wanted Slavia Prag’s Ondrej, yet Fotospor claim the Turkish club have made significant progress in their efforts to sign Blackett, who has also been linked with a move to fellow Super Lig side Fenerbahce.

Yesterday we covered a claim from Turkey that Fener sporting director Damien Comolli was in talks to sign the fullback.

Fotospor say along with Trabzonspor, Ankaragucu are also interested in the 25 year old, but at this stage it seems the Reading player will be heading to the Trabzon club.

Blackett has been a regular in Mark Bowen’s side in the past few weeks, however, Reading may be tempted to cash in on him, especially considering he will become a free agent at the end of the season.

The former Manchester United defender has made nine appearances for the club in the Championship this season, making two assists.
