According to an exclusive report from Asist Analiz, Fenerbahce are very close to signing Reading left-back Tyler Blackett.

The Turkish side are in the market for defensive reinforcements in this transfer window and signing a left-back is one of their priorities.

Fener will look to solve their issues in this position by signing the former Manchester United player, who can also play as a centre back.

Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli is currently in talks with Reading with regards to signing Blackett and Asist Analiz say it’s very likely the 25 year old will join the Super Lig side before the end of the transfer window.

Blackett has made just 9 appearances for Reading in Championship this season but has been a regular in Mark Bowen’s side in the past few weeks.

He will be a free agent at the end of the season so Fenerbahce are looking to complete the deal for a cut-price fee. The player can also speak to the Istanbul club over a pre-contract agreement for an alternative summer move.
