Earlier on Friday, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Kieran Trippier from Newcastle United.

It was said that with the Bundesliga giants looking for a right-back, they’ve been discussing the possibility of landing the 33-year-old on a loan deal.

As Plettenberg is now back to Twitter with an update on Trippier’s situation, it’s claimed that Bayern are actually not the only option for the Newcastle player.

It’s said that the fullback has been offered to multiple clubs in the ‘past few days’, with some English sides on that list as well.

Regarding Bayern, the journalist first claims that the club are still focused on the arrival of Nordi Mukiele From Paris Saint Germain. In case his signing isn’t possible, then they’d move for Trippier, as there’s been a ‘recent analysis’ on him.

Still, it’s claimed that ‘talk and negotiations are ongoing’, so we should soon see how this story develops.

Trippier has 28 appearances made for Newcastle this season, and it’s a surprising situation to see him getting offered around like this.
