Yesterday it was claimed in the English press that West Ham United are interested in signing Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson in the summer.

With Leeds seemingly out of the race for a play off place it seems West Ham could test their resolve in the next window, and offer Jansson Premier League football.

The Leeds United star has in the past spoken about his desire to play in the English top flight and Malmo24 believe the player would be interested in a Premier League move this summer if it’s offered to him.

Ideally the Swede would want to play in the top flight with Leeds United, but they seem destined for another season in the Championship.

However, Expressen are more sceptical about Jansson moving to West Ham this summer because of the turmoil at the club.

Labelling the Hammers a ‘chaos club’ they outline the off-field problems the London club have encountered this season, but also highlight Leeds United’s woes on the pitch.

Despite this, West Ham can offer Jansson his dream move.
