As everything that happens at Sporting ends up having an impact on club transfers, we wouldn’t expect any different from the players’ fallout with president Bruno de Carvalho.

When the official announced that all the guys who rebelled against him would be suspended, it was pretty obvious that some of them would want to leave, and that’s exactly what A Bola is talking about.

The newspaper claims several clubs have been contacting representatives to see the players’ situation, hoping that all this mess makes the transfers more easy. It’s written that the players who wanted to leave ‘now want it even more’ in case Carvalho stays in charge of the club.

A Bola lists the most valuable stars in Sporting’s squad, all based on release clauses and Transfermarkt’s valuations. They have a story about a midfielder who West Ham should be keeping an eye on, Rodrigo Battaglia.

The 26-year-old is linked to West Ham once again, this time in a story which reports the 50th appearance he’s set to make for the Lions.

A Bola claims the race for him has been pretty big. The likes of Betis and Villarreal have been watching him in the past few weeks, while Sevilla have recently made contact with his representatives.

As some West Ham fans should remember, the Italian press have been reporting the interest from local clubs as well, so there’s a bit of a European race set to be formed for him next summer.

Now the question is: are any of these clubs are up to spend €60m on his release clause? Because if Bruno de Carvalho is tough to negotiate when in a good mood, imagine when his relationship with the players is broken down.
