Sabah have reported Stoke City have made a formal €16m offer for Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

We recently covered the reports from the Turkish press that Stoke City are interested in signing Ndiaye, and Sabah say an official bid has now come in from the Premier League side.

However, Galatasaray have rejected the offer as Sabah claim the Turkish side are demanding a fee in the region of €20m for the 26 year old.

According to the Turkish newspaper, Stoke City officials will take their time about increasing their offer, and Galatasaray want the sale because it will provide them with funds for this transfer window.

Ndiaye has been a key figure at Galatasaray after his arrival from Osmanlispor in the summer, but this hasn’t stopped Stoke City reportedly stepping up in their pursuit of the player.

Stoke City have signed Kostas Stafylidis after Paul Lambert’s arrival and it seems he wants to make Ndiaye his next signing.

At least according to the Turkish media.
