If the Spanish media are to be believed then a source close to Michy Batshuayi’s potential exit from Chelsea spent some of Wednesday speaking to various outlets in the country, talking up a move to Valencia.

Media local to the Spanish side seem confident that if Batshuayi is going to move this summer than it’s likely to be to Los Che, with it being claimed they hold the will of the Belgian international.

That’s carried on in Thursday’s press, and Marca have a take on the situation.

Claiming they’ve spoken to a source close to the potential transfer, the following quote is used: “Batshuayi wants to go to Valencia.”

That’s also the sentence Marca use to start their article about the Chelsea player, and the message is very clear indeed.

Batshuayi is said to be confident he’ll be an important player if he switches to Valencia and that’s one of the reasons he wants them over alternatives.

Marca say the formula of the transfer would be a loan.
