Jakub Jankto might mean a lot to Arsenal fans, who have seen the Udinese midfielder’s name linked with their club multiple times, but to Watford fans, this is a first.

It shouldn’t, though, as the Czech Republic international’s Premier League ambitions should have led to this being a thing a while back, especially considering the Pozzo link between the Hornets and the Serie A outfit.

Well, Gazzetta dello Sport suggest it could happen, with AC Milan now taking an active interest in the 21-year-old, explaining Gennaro Gattuso could end up facing some competition from England.

Arsenal are obviously mentioned (as they’ve been ‘following him for months’ now), but also push the idea that Watford could be the perfect stepping stone for Jankto as he looks to make a name for himself across the Channel.

At the moment, there’s nothing to it, a bit like the Etienne Capoue to Torino story from Friday, but it could easily become a thing if it gets in the hands of the wrong people.

Just a suggestion and two plus two adding up to five, for now.
