The agent of Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto has told the Italian media his client is a lover of English football, and likes Arsenal.
The Czech international has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months.
Calciomercato have reported on comments Beppe Riso made to Italian TV when quizzed about the future of Jankto. “He likes Arsenal, he is a lover of English football, and he likes Juve, Inter and other teams as well. He’s a young man, 21, and must be calm and think only of Udinese, then we’ll see. I see him more in the Premier League than in other championships, yes.”
Last season we covered reports Arsenal sent a scout to the game between Torino and Udinese, with the purpose of watching Jankto.
This wasn’t the first time the Premier League side had reportedly travelled to Italy to check up on the progression of the Czech youngster, with claims they were even watching him on loan at Ascoli the previous season.
Recent reports suggest Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still interested in the 21 year old, and there could see some movement from the Gunners this summer.
