Giuseppe Bellusci to PAOK is moving forward, but slowly, and perhaps not very surely. It’s certainly not quick enough for Leeds United fans, who aren’t too keen on the Italian, but things seem to be happening, at some level.

After a positive between the player’s agent and PAOK in Germany on Thursday, there’s plans for a second meeting, where things can get ‘deeper’.

That will allow Bellusci’s camp to go into things in more detail, which presumably means ask how much money the Greek club would be willing to pay in wages.

The latest claims come from Calciomercato.it, who add that the aim is for an ‘outright’ transfer for the Leeds United player.

Considering he’s only got a year left on his Leeds United deal, anything else would be very odd indeed.

As the Greek claims build, interest in Italy continues to simmer, but not coming to the boil. Calciomercato reiterate interest from Bologna, Cagliari, and Benevento.
