Ansu Fati is waiting to make his first league start for Brighton & Hove Albion since joining them on loan from Barcelona in the summer window.

The winger has been restricted to 115 minutes of action from four league games and has made three starts in other competitions.

Fati left with the hope of returning to the Camp Nou next summer but Sport state his start at Brighton hasn’t been positive so far.

That hasn’t stopped him from drawing attention from Saudi Arabia as the report explains that an unnamed Middle Eastern club ‘try to seduce’ him for next season.

It’s claimed they are determined to sign the 20-year-old and have already registered their interest with his environment.

There have been informal contacts between the two parties and some within the player’s inner circle would welcome this move, but the Spain international isn’t in favour of this.

His contract at the Camp Nou is until 2027 and Sport state Barcelona’s decision on Fati’s future is still pending.

In fact, Barca believe it’s ‘too early’ to talk about the attacker and they highlight that he has ‘enough talent to be an important’ player under Roberto De Zerbi this season.
