A dramatic personal battle between Roman Abramovich and Florentino Perez is today reported by Spanish outlet Super Deporte.

It all starts with Eden Hazard’s situation at Real Madrid. The winger is having another disappointing season at the Santiago Bernabeu, and as his exit from the club looks increasingly possible, a return to Chelsea is said to be one of his favourite options.

The outlet claims that the Blues have knocked on his door, with Abramovich being ‘very interested’ in bringing him back to Stamford Bridge.

It’s been recently reported that Real Madrid turned down a €25m bid from West Ham for the Belgian star, and now it’s claimed that they want at least €50m.

Now it turns out that the amount Chelsea would like to pay would depend on another issue. And that’s Antonio Rudiger.

The defender’s contract with the Blues expires at the end of the season, and as the club aren’t meeting his big demands, he could leave for free. Among the many clubs who’ve been in touch for his signing, there’s Real Madrid.

Roman Abramovich is said to be ‘very annoyed’ with this scenario, and in a revenge move against Florentino Perez, he wouldn’t offer a lot for Hazard, being ‘more forceful’ in the negotiations. It’s said that making low bids for the 30-year-old would be a way to punish the Spanish side for signing Rudiger for free.

Meanwhile, Hazard, who’s still to score a goal this season, is said to be out of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, and only wants to leave the Galacticos for a big club.
