As you might have seen, the purchase of Newcastle United by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund has caused the Magpies to be named alongside many, many players on the transfer rumour mill.

They’ve ranged from slightly unbelievable ones like Kylian Mbappé to more realistic ones, and one of the latest to come up has been Yerry Mina, currently at Everton.

The Colombian defender has been a key member of Rafa Benitez’s plans at Goodison Park, but there have been a number of stories circling suggesting he could leave in the near future.

Whether it’s to Newcastle remains to be seen, but Jeunes Footeux in France have claimed that the Premier League side are ‘thinking’ about the Toffees man.

It’s said he ‘has an exit pass for this winter in case of an interesting offer’, which they put at around €20m.

The issue here, however, is that Jeunes Footeux say so when it’s their own information, and they don’t here, so we’re not entirely sure whether they’ve got this from.

We’d take it with a pinch of salt for now, especially since this appears to be a French website commenting on a Colombian player for a transfer between two English sides, but we’ll keep an eye on it nonetheless.
