For anyone not aware, Antonio Cassano is going out of his way to be as controversial as possible in his life as a pundit, and now it is Manchester City’s Jack Grealish in the firing line.

Cassano is working extra hard to be relevant since hanging up his boots, putting himself firmly in the controversial pundit category to ensure exposure.

Barely a day goes by when he’s not making controversial, or frankly stupid, comments of some nature and today is no different.

He’s currently focusing on new Napoli star Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has been taking Italy and Europe by storm this season.

Dubbed Kvaradona by the Napoli faithful, the Georgian has been starring in Serie A and the Champions League with a series of impressive performances that make a mockery of his age and lack of top-level experience.

He’s already being tipped for a big-money move and we wouldn’t be surprised if the big Premier League teams, like Manchester City, are being linked before too long.

Cassano certainly believes that is on the cards, and he would be an upgrade on current Manchester City star Jack Grealish, who he’s taken a swipe at during his praise for Kvaratskhelia.

“If he continues like this, he will leave Napoli soon,” he told Habla Antonio on Instagram, relayed by Napoli Piu.

“Right now, he is no longer a surprise. He could have been in the first games. The impressive thing about this guy is his personality at 22-years-old.

“We are talking about a Georgian who comes from a different league, and no one knew him, even me, little or nothing. He has incredible continuity with an average of one goal or one assist per game. He is blowing me away.

“He’s doing some really impressive performances. He is strong in everything, in the short term, in the long term, he has great physical strength but also in his legs. He always makes the right choice and even scores goals.

“With all due respect to Napoli but if he goes on like this, he will soon leave the Azzurri team. He can play in the strongest teams in the world, because he is a player of that level there.

“He can also play for example with one leg instead of Manchester City’s Grealish. Kvaratskhelia has more ideas, more personality, more quality.”
