Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly interested in signing the 26-year-old striker Abel Camará from Belenenses.
The newspaper says the English club will be offering the player a two-year deal “in the next few days”.
Camará spent the last season on loan at Al-Faisaly in Saudi Arabia, where he scored four goals and made two assists in 28 games.
Sheffield Wednesday are often being covered in the Portuguese press, mostly because of their manager Carlos Carvalhal.
The club boss has a good eye for players from his home country, but with the striker having had a bad year in Saudi Arabia, it’s hard to say if the coach is the one asking for this signing.
