Chelsea’s pursuit for Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick has been no secret.

Following reports saying the Blues held several meetings for the signing and many stories saying their bid is about to arrive, it’s clear the Stamford Bridge side are one of the main contenders to land the 16-year-old.

But Endrick is wanted by many European giants, and as today reported by UOL, Real Madrid are one of those who will compete with Chelsea for the teenager.

It’s said that the player’s family will travel to Spain at the end of the month. There they’ll get to know the La Liga side’s facilities as well as speak about their projects. Only then, the Santiago Bernabéu club will evaluate the bid they’ll place.

Real Madrid are said to be Endrick’s favourite option, but other clubs are still alive in the race. UOL writes that Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain are ‘in contact with the family’ and the expectation is for their bids to be made official in the coming weeks.

The youngster is said to be protected by a €60m release clause, and according to the story, Palmeiras don’t want to negotiate for less than that.
