As everyone waits for some updates on the talks between Tottenham Hotspur and Sporting for Pedro Porro, it just seems like the player is not prepared to fly to London yet.

As reported by Record, the fullback took part in the Lions’ training session today.

The outlet writes that his presence in the works ahead of the match against Braga was the ‘main news’ they had.

Sporting and Tottenham ‘continue negotiations’ for the move, and until all details are agreed, Porro will continue training with the squad.

Record writes that Porro is ‘still waiting for the green light’ to fly to London, but there’s nothing he can do while the clubs can’t get to an agreement for the transfer.

This morning, the Portuguese media already claimed that Sporting and Tottenham are struggling to get to a deal, and the operation is said to be ‘frozen’ for now, while the Lions push to make a few more millions with the sale.

As things stand, with little time to get things sorted, the Portuguese club apparently don’t mind having him in the squad for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, journalist Bruno Andrade has a very different take on the situation, claiming that Pedro Porro actually ‘refused’ to train and wasn’t present, while the talks between Tottenham and Sporting CP are ‘at an impasse’.

That being said, his article for Mais Futebol does state the two clubs are still in touch about the deal.

It appears this situation is a bit of a mess right now, and we’ll wait and see what else comes out in the next few hours.
