Takvim claim Besiktas will open talks with Liverpool in order to cancel Loris Karius’ loan contract in January

It’s reported recently installed Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Cebi is looking to rebuild the team and will try to offload some of the players, including the Liverpool loanee.

The German goalkeeper has yet to convince Besiktas fans with his indifferent form and Takvim say Cebi isn’t a big fan of the player.

There are reports they will look to replace Karius with Fulham’s Fabri, but first they need to send the former Mainz keeper back to Liverpool.

Fabri is currently on loan with Mallorca but has yet to feature for the Spanish side.

Karius recently stated he wants to return to the Premier League after his loan contract with Besiktas ends next summer.

This could now happen sooner if they manage to convince Liverpool over breaking the agreement.

He’s under contract at Anfield until June 2021.
