The developing transfer saga around Oscar Zambrano and Bournemouth has taken another twist, with it claimed his agent is now blocking a move to the Premier League.

That’s according to journalist Fabian Gallardo, relayed by Gaby Jurado Calvo, who says the youngster’s representative wants to send him to the Bundesliga this month.

Zambrano has been linked with a move to England since last year, when several sides were believed to be looking into a move for him.

That never happened but the rumours started swirling again earlier this month, when it was claimed Bournemouth had secured him in a €5m deal.

His agent quickly responded to those rumours and insisted they were not true, pushing to make it clear that Bournemouth had not submitted a bid and he wouldn’t be going there.

That sparked something of a war of words between the various parties involved in the potential business, with the agent saying one thing, league representatives saying another, and Bournemouth stuck in the middle of it.

Now Gallardo adds the latest twist, reporting on radio show Los tiempos del Pocho that Zambrano’s representative ‘does not want’ for the player to be sold to the Premier League because he has offers in Germany instead.

He wants to sell the youngster there, but the player seemingly disagrees and is ‘quite upset’ that a move to the Premier League has been blocked for him.

He clearly fancied a move to the Premier League but has found his agent in his way as he thinks the Bundesliga, and the offers he has there, are the better option.

It’s all, quite frankly, a bit of a mess and perhaps Bournemouth would be wise to give this youngster a miss to avoid getting wrapped up with an agent who is very clearly playing the market.
