Mahmoud Trezeguet appears to have increased his value since swapping Aston Villa for Trabzonspor.

As the Turkish media cover the 29-year-old’s future, they highlight the great second season the player is having at his new club.

Trezeguet has 11 goals and four assists in 23 appearances, and according to 61 Trabzon Haber, he’s drawing interest from English clubs.

Trabzonspor only spent €4m to sign him from Aston Villa in the summer of 2022, according to the report, and it’s said they want to make €15m with his sale.

It’s said the Turkish side authorised two different agents to work on his transfer for that amount, and now they wait for English offers to arrive.

Trezeguet belonged to Aston Villa between 2019, when they signed him for €10m, to 2022. In his time at the English club, he had nine goals and four assists in 64 appearances, and those years included a loan spell at Basaksehir.

He seems to have found his good form back in Turkey, though, and now we’re curious to see which English club is interested in giving him a new chance to shine.
