Signed at the very back end of the summer transfer window on loan until the end of the season, Fodé Ballo-Touré’s move to Fulham just hasn’t worked out.

The Senegal international was meant to provide competition on the left hand side of the defence, but he hasn’t convinced Marco Silva, as shown by the Portuguese manager’s reluctance to use him even sporadically.

This is something Milan News looked at on Tuesday evening and point out how much the defender has struggled at Fulham.

So far, he has played what is considered a ‘pittance’ of seven appearances in all competitions, with only two of those seeing him come as a starter.

Those came in the EFL Cup against Norwich and Ipswich, with the rest coming in the Premier League, totalling 53 minutes of top tier football over five games.

Milan News point out his last appearance for Fulham in the league was ‘a month ago’, and he wasn’t even called up against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last game.

A terrible deal for both the Craven Cottage side and the player, with AC Milan now fully expecting to welcome him back and having to find him a new club for next season.
