Benjamin Tetteh’s agent Pavel Zika has spoken to Sport.Cz with regards to the latest developments over the future of his client after being linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It’s not just Wolves who have been getting attention, although it’s Nuno Espirito Santo’s side who have been linked the most. Everton, West Ham and Bournemouth also get a mention in the article.

Raul Jimenez is easily first choice at Molineux, but there’s been speculation Leo Bonatini could leave this month.

Everton have been linked with several forwards during the current window, as Marco Silva looks to bring some quality to Goodison Park. Cenk Tosun is constantly linked with a return to Turkey, so Everton interest in other forwards would make some sense.

Down at West Ham, the situation around Marko Arnautovic has been a big concern, and there’s also constant links between Valencia and Javier Hernandez. Manuel Pellegrini is likely to want a replacement for his West Ham squad should either player leave.

Tetteh is a 21-year old Ghanaian striker and he’s been in impressive form for Sparta Prague this season, scoring 9 goals in 19 appearances in the Fortuna Liga.

This has led to speculation about his future and Sport.cz say Wolves are interested in the player, along with West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth, and Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.

Zika has confirmed to the Czech sport outlet they’ve received a serious offer from the Premier League without disclosing the club: “We’ve had offers for Tetteh from different teams in different countries but none of them were enough for Sparta. But I can say that we have one serious offer from England, and we are considering it. We have time until the end of the month. Let’s see what happens.”

There have been reports in the English media Wolves have opened talks to sign Tetteh in this transfer window and that his club want £11m.

Everton and West Ham have also been linked, but not to the same extent.

Tetteh is under contract with the Czech club until June 2022.
