Nuraly Alip’s agent has told Sport Express that they are not aware of recent claims linking the Zenit St. Petersburg star with a move to Manchester United.
The Kazakhstan international initially joined the Russian club on a loan deal in 2022 and his stay there was made permanent at the start of this year.
The centre-back has made 19 appearances this season and latest links had stated that he has ended up on Manchester United’s radar.
Earlier this week, Kazak outlet EL.kz reported the Red Devils are considering a move for the 23-year-old and had also sent a scout to watch him in action for his country against Slovenia.
It was also said the Premier League side were pleased with his performances for club and country.
After this report surfaced, Sport Express got in touch with Player Career Management, the agency that manages the defender’s interests, for an update. Their official has confirmed they haven’t been approached by Manchester United over a potential deal for Alip.
“Nobody contacted the agency – the rest is on the conscience of the authors. The player belongs to Zenit and is currently focused on helping the club win the championship,” a representative of the agency said.
Alip has a contract until 2025 and Sport Express state he’s valued at around €2m.
