Newcastle United and Wolves could make moves for Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira this summer, according to Tuttosport.

Juventus are looking to thin their squad and raise cash after a big summer of investment, particularly in midfield.

Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey have already joined the squad, and there’s still a chance that the Serie A champions will make a move for Paul Pogba.

Players need to be moved on regardless, and one who doesn’t fit into Maurizio Sarri’s system is Sami Khedira.

Tuttosport say he’s on the sell list and that Wolves are particularly keen on his signature. They have already ‘conducted a survey’ on the former Real Madrid midfielder, and were linked on Thursday.

Juventus would be willing to let Khedira go on a free transfer, despite the fact he has a contract until 2021, as this is something they’ve done with other players who arrived at the club on a free transfer.

Newcastle United and Monaco are also aware of the situation, but it’s Wolves who appear to be at the front of the queue.
